Sam has studied art his whole life. Through McMurry College, University of Texas Austin, Sarah lawrence College & the Cleveland Institute of Art Summer Studies program in Lacoste Provence France, he studied under Robert Miller. Robert Levers, Steven Derikson and Bernard Pfriem among many others.
"I've found the marriage of Art and Story to be the catalyst for creativity that I was lacking through a formal art education. I've found what I love to do.
Sam is a published Author and illustrator. His most current work can been seen in FarFaria a children's story App for the iPad from Intuary inc.
His Comic Two White Horses was published in an anthology entitled Dark Mischief vol. 2 from Dream Walker press.
His story KnickKnack the Cat appeared in the first illopond.com project 8 A Kid's Book Anthology and his story, For the Public Good, appeared in the groups second anthology project 8 A Steampunk Anthology for which Sam was acting project head and editor.
